Since our founding, Guidry Funeral Home has been providing personal funeral services to the families of Church Point in their time of need. Founded by Sidney P. Guidry, Sr. in 1955, Guidry Funeral Home has established a reputation for professional service and compassion that has endured throughout the past 70 years. To this day, we have remained a locally owned, family-operated funeral home. After the retirement of Sidney “Benny” Guidry, Jr.; Kerry T. Seilhan, Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, represents the third generation of Guidry Funeral Home’s commitment to the community as a co-owner with his father-in-law Robert L. Thibodeaux.
Guidry Funeral Home is dedicated to ensuring that families of all faiths, traditions, and backgrounds are able to remember their loved ones in a way that is tasteful and comforting. We believe that our responsibility to our families starts before the loss of a loved one, and does not end with the remembrance service. That is why we offer pre-arrangement planning to enable families to plan ahead to ease such a burden.
