Church Point, LA Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Yvette Olivier, 67, the former Frances Yvette Richard. Mrs. Olivier, a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died Sunday Morning, June 25 at Opelousas General Medical Center in Opelousas, LA. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with interment following in the Olivier Cemetery, St. Claire Dr., Church Point.

Survivors include her husband, Toby Olivier of Church Point; a son, Richie Olivier and wife Michelle and a daughter, Monique Castille-all of Church Point; a sister, Stephanie Boone and husband Kelly of Church Point; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Clara McBride Richard; a son, Todd Olivier and two sisters, Nikki Rodrigues and Paula "Jo-Jo" Doucet.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 27 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Wednesday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held there at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday by Monsignor DeBlanc.

A devoted homemaker and mother, Mrs. Olivier will be sadly missed by family and friends.
