Church Point, La.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Thursday, February 19, 2009 at Guidry Funeral Home; Church Point, La. for William Edward "Billy" Thompson, Jr., 33. Mr. Thompson, a native of Houma, La. and long-time resident of Church Point, died early Tuesday morning, February 17, 2009 in an automobile accident near Cocodrie, La. Deacon Jim Cormier will conduct the service.
Survivors include his wife, Tracy Freeman Thompson; a son, William Stanley Thompson and two daughters, Brook Ashlie and Madison Bree Thompson-all of Church Point; his father, William Edward Thompson, Sr. of Palatka, Fla. and his mother, Julie Pickering of Brookhaven, Miss.; two brothers, Jody Thompson of Opelousas, La. and Kerry Pickering of Brookhaven, Miss. and two sisters, Laura Edwards and Chelsea Pickering, both of Brookhaven.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 P.M until the time of the service.
