Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at St. Edward Catholic Church in Richard, La. for Mrs. Wilfred LeDoux, 83, the former Ethel Thibodeaux. Mrs. Ledoux, a native and long-time resident of rural Acadia Parish near Richard, died at 1:05 A.M. Sunday, July 7 at Acadia-St. Landry Guest Home in Church Point. Father Bali will conduct the services with interment following in the St. Edward Cemetery adjacent to the church.
Survivors include her husband, Wilfred Ledoux of Church Point; a son, Floyd LeBouef and wife Delores of Church Point; two daughters, Genora Giles and husband Shane of Lafayette, La. and Geneva White and husband Jim of Lumberton, Tex.; two stepsons, Joseph Ledoux of Texas and Scott LeDoux LeJeune and wife Adina of Oakdale, La.; two stepdaughters, Tina Brown of Texas and Tammy Thibodeaux of Richard; a sister, Odile Cormier of Groves, Tex.; twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ferrier and Marante (Richard) Thibodeaux; six brothers and four sisters.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Monday, July 8 and continue from 11:00 A.M. Tuesday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Monday by Deacon Bryne Winn.
