A Memorial Service will be held at a date and time to be determined by family for Wanda Downs, 64, the former Wanda Mae Sanders. Mrs. Downs, a native of Hamburg, Arkansas, long-time resident of Houston, Tex. and currently a resident of Lafayette, La.; died at 2:10 P.M. Thursday, June 13, 2013 at University Medical Center in Lafayette.
Survivors include her husband, William D. "Bill" Downs, Sr. of Lafayette; a son, William D. Downs, Jr. and wife Heather of Houston; a brother, Carlan Brockwell residing in Florida; a sister, Geneva Ransom of Rayville, La. and a grandson, Kyle Mclean Downs.
