Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, La. for Walter Donald "Donnie Deano" Olivier, 61. Mr. Olivier, a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died Friday morning, January 9 at his residence. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with interment following in the Monsignor Bienvenu Cemetery on Highway 35 north of Church Point.

Survivors include two sons, Donnie Olivier of Church Point and Joseph "Joe" Olivier of Ville Platte, La.; a brother, Dickie Olivier of Church Point; two sisters, Darlene Ray and Ann McGee of Church Point; two grandchildren, Kylie and Jackie Olivier and his mother-in-law, Elaine Richard Quibodeaux.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Quibodeaux Olivier; his parents, Raleigh and Hazel Matte Olivier; a brother, Duke Olivier and his father-in-law, Russell Quibodeaux.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 A.M. Wednesday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 10:30 A.M. by Monsignor DeBlanc.
