Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Guidry Funeral Home, Church Point for Vivian Labbie, 85, the former Mrs. Thomas Labbie. Mrs. Labbie, a native of Lewisburg, La. and long-time resident of Church Point, died at 1:25 A.M. Tuesday, March 16 at Acadia-St. Landry Guest Home, Church Point. Reverend Berl Adams will conduct the services with interment following in the First Baptist Cemetery, Church Point

Survivors include two daughters, Genora Olivier and Cathy Jo LeJeune and husband Keith of Church Point: a daughter-in-law, Joyce Bailey of Cameron, La.; four sisters: Lou Cannon, Thelma Manuel and Martha Dean of Opelousas, La. and Ann Bertrand of Thibodeaux, La.; twelve grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Labbie was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Austin Labbe, Sr.; her husband, Thomas Labbie; a son, Gerald Lavergne; a son-in-law, Wilbur Olivier; a stepson, Carroll Labbie; a granddaughter, Sabina LeJeune and her brothers, Austin Labbe, Jr. and E.L. Labbe.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Wednesday March 17 and continue from 9:00 A.M. Thursday until the time of the services.
