Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Church Point for Mrs. Virgie Mistric Milton,82, the former Virgie Fruge. Mrs. Milton, a native of Church Point and a resident of Port Neches, Tex., died at 10:20 A.M. Sunday, August 1 at her son's residence there. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with interment following in the Monsignor Bienvenu Cemetery on Highway 35 north of Church Point.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Mistric and wife Cindy of Port Neches, Tex. and Gerald Noel and wife Jo of Opelousas, La.; a brother, Thomas Fruge of Church Point; two grandsons, Mathew Mistric and wife Christine of Cypress, Tex. and Nathan Mistric of Nederland, Tex.; three granddaughters, Angie Shaheen and husband Damian of Opelousas, La., Kim Burkey of El Paso, Tex. and Leigh Mistric of Houston, Tex.; a step-grandson, Brandon Gary of Nederland, Tex. and four great-grand children: Gabriel, Jade and Kirsten Shaheen and Caroline Mistric.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 12:00 noon until 9:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 4 and continue from 9:00 A.M. Thursday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday by Deacon Bryne Winn.
Pallbearers will be Larry Mistric, Gerald Noel, Mathew and Nathan Mistric, Brandon Gary and Daniel Sharpless.
