Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 21, 2010 at St. John Chapel; Lewisburg, La. for Vince Thibodeaux, 54. Mr. Thibodeaux, a life-long resident of rural St. Landry Parish, died at 7:55 A.M. Friday, June 18 at his residence near Lewisburg. Father Gregory Chauvin, assisted by Seminarian Billy Massie, will conduct the services with interment following in the St. John Cemetery, Lewisburg.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Godeaux Thibodeaux of Church Point; two sons, Dennis Paul Thibodeaux and Lee Phillip Thibodeaux of Church Point; two daughters, Joycelyn Marie Poole and husband Jason and Victoria Marie Thibodeaux, all of Church Point; his parents, Gervais "Joe" and Wilma Briscoe Thibodeaux of New Orleans, La. and two sisters, Ella Thibodeaux of Church Point and Christine Richard of Opelousas, La. He is also survived by three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Bailey Marie Thibodeaux.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 20 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Monday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday by Father Chauvin.

Pallbearers will be Lee, Dennis and Glendy Thibodeaux, Jason Poole, Thomas Godeaux and Randy Richard.
