Church Point, LA:        Troy Lynn Taylor, 57, a native of Church Point, LA, passed away at his home in rural Acadia Parish near Pitreville, LA on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, Valton Taylor of Orange, TX; his mother, Betty Carline Boudreaux and his granddaughter, Stephanie Russel both of Church Point. Troy is survived by his stepfather, Winston Boudreaux and wife Juanita Boudreaux; his brothers, Brian Taylor and wife Jennifer Taylor and Jack Boudreaux; a sister, Shannon Hamilton and husband Keith Hamilton; his children, Tonya Russel and husband Richard Russel, Jeremy Hanks and wife Ashley Hanks and Corey Hanks and wife Rachael Hanks; his grandchildren: Katlyn, Sophia, John, Ellyssa, Kaydence, Hanna and Jaxon; many great-nieces and nephews and an ex-wife, Evangeline Taylor. Troy had a big heart and loved his family very much. He had a "green thumb" and could make nearly anything grow. He was much loved and will be greatly missed.
