A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA for Tony James Thibodeaux. Mr. Thibodeaux, a native and lifetime resident of Acadia Parish near Church Point, passed away Friday morning, February 4 at Acadia-St. Landry Hospital in Church Point. Deacon Byrne Winn will conduct the service and disposition will be determined by family at a later date.

He is survived by his father, Keith "Raybu" Thibodeaux of Church Point; a brother, Dustin Thibodeaux of Church Point; a Godfather, Mike Polite of Chalmette, LA; a Godmother, Linda Thibodeaux of Church Point and his extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Polite; his paternal grandparents, Kurtney and Helen Thibodeaux and his maternal grandparents, Paul and Judy Polite.

The family requests that visitation be held at Guidry Funeral Home from 10:00 AM Tuesday until the time of services. A rosary will be recited by Deacon Winn at 1:30 PM.

A loving son and brother who loved hunting and fishing, Mr. Thibodeaux was a personal trainer in the personal fitness field for a number of years. He truly will be missed by all who knew him. Guidry Funeral Home, 219 N. Broadway St., Church Point, LA is in charge of final arrangements.
