Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Guidry Funeral Home Chapel, Church Point for Toby Murphy, 43, who died Tuesday afternoon, October 21, 2008 in Lafayette, La. A carpenter, Mr. Murphy was a resident of Church Point. Pastor David Devillier will conduct the services with interment following in the Monsignor Bienvenu Cemetery; Highway 35, Church Point.

Survivors include his wife, Jackie McCauley Murphy of Church Point; a son Ryan Scott McCauley of Church Point; three daughters: Amber Gottschaulk of North Carolina and Heather Gwen and Kalan "Tobi" Murphy-both of Church Point; his parents, Ralph and Gwen Murphy of Denham Springs, La.; two brothers: Michael Patrick Murphy of Ville Platte, La. and Nicholas "Buck" Murphy of Greenwell Springs, La. and three sisters: Patricia "Trish Johnson of Zachary, La., Becky Brumfield of Richmond, Va. and Karen Murphy of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Milton and Bernella Sonnier.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Friday, October 24 and continue Saturday from 8:00 A.M. until the time of the services.
