Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 11, 2008 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church; Church Point, La. for Timothy Babineaux,48, who died at 7:32 P.M. Friday, February 8, 2008 at his brother's residence in Lafayette, La. He was a native of Church Point. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with interment following in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Church Point.

Survivors include his stepmother, Hilda Landry Babineaux of Church Point; two brothers, Dale Babineaux and wife Elizabeth of Church Point and Jackie Babineaux of Lafayette, La.; one sister, Glenda Faye Babineaux Sonnier and husband I.W. of Scott, La. and three stepbrothers: Javis Noel of Church Point, Jimmy Noel of Moss Bluff, La. and Jay Noel of Ville Platte, La. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Early Louis Babineaux and Elsie Venable Babineaux and a sister, Rebecca Babineaux Dartez.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 10 and continue on Monday from 8:00 A.M. until the time of services.

A recitation of the Rosary will be held on Sunday at 7:00 P.M.
