Church Point, LA:         A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday October 9, 2021 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA for Thomas Jefferson Fritz, 84. Mr. Fritz, a native of Harvey, LA and resident of rural St. Landry Parish, passed away Wednesday, October 6 at his residence. Chris Jeffus, Chaplain of Bridgeway Hospice, will conduct the service and disposition will be determined by family.

He is survived by a son, Thomas Norwood Fritz and wife Verna of Bogalusa, LA; his daughters, Elizabeth Babineaux and husband Dale of Church Point and Pamela Matone and companion Jerry Dollison of Mobile, AL; eleven grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren and twenty-one great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Fritz raised two granddaughters, Leah Davidson Thibodeaux and husband Brian and Brandie Davidson Hagen and husband Robert-all of Church Point. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Paul and Beautiful Alice Crabtree Fritz; his wife, Flossie Norwood Fritz; two sisters and two brothers and a son, William Paul Fritz.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 9:00 AM Saturday until the time of services. The family wishes to thank Dale Babineaux, the staff of Bridgeway Hospice and Jamie Landry for the care and concern they've shown. A self-employed roofer for a number of years, Mr. Fritz was devoted to his family. He will truly be missed by his extended family and friends.
