Church Point, LA:      A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Church Point, LA for Mrs. Theresa C. "Ms. T" Guidry, 90, who passed away at 9:40 AM Sunday, November 24 at Acadia-St. Landry Hospital. Fr. Brian Harrington, Pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, will be the Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the Burial Rite in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Mausoleum on Hwy 35.

Ms. T, a resident of Church Point, was the daughter of the late Ojust Comeaux and the former Clevana Seaux. A member of the American Legion Auxiliary, she loved her family, cooking and sewing. Many of her hand-sewn aprons are being used in Church Point as we speak.

She is survived by three sons: Ronald Guidry of Church Point, John Guidry and wife Trudy of Branch, LA and Peter Guidry and wife Lisa of Rayne, La.; two daughters, Debbie Mire and husband Danny of Mire, La and Mary Lanclos and husband Neil of Church Point; 20 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herman "Hi" Guidry; one daughter, Patricia G. Thibodeaux; one grandson, Benjamin Guidry; one sister, Mary Vina Deshotel and one brother, Jean Milton Menard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 26, from 9:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass. A Rosary will be recited in the funeral home at 1:15 PM prior to leaving for the Mass.
