Church Point, LA:     A Memorial will be held at a time to be determined by his family for Terry Odel Meche, 72. Mr. Meche, a long-time resident of Church Point, LA and currently residing in Rayne, LA, died Monday evening, January 5, 2026 at his residence.

Survivors include his daughters, Nichole Lacombe of Church Point, Tyla Meche and fiancé Christian Bertrand of Sulphur, LA and Tonya Meche of Terre Haute, IN; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; his sisters: Josette Quebodeaux and husband Bryan of Church Point, Donna Meche of Ville Platte and Mellidy, Cheryl and Kay Meche and Roseanna Menard-all of Duson, LA-and his brothers: Robert Meche and wife Debbie of Sunset, LA, Larry Meche of Duson and Jim Meche and wife Bridget, Ike Richard and wife Pam and Dale Meche-all of Church Point. He was preceded in death by his parents, Junior J. Meche and Patsy Faulk.

A derrick man in the oil industry for a number of years; Mr. Meche was a loving sibling, father and grandfather who enjoyed the outdoors, sports and his motorcycles. Truly loved, he will be missed by all who knew him.
