Church Point, LA:         A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 17, 2022 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Terril Dale Faul, 73. Mr. Faul, a native of Church Point and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away Thursday, January 13 at the Cornerstone at the Ranch nursing home in Lafayette, LA. Rev. Father Brian Harrington, pastor of the church, will be the celebrant of the Mass and interment will be in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Hwy 35 north of Church Point.

He is survived by a brother, Carroll Joseph Faul and life partner Jo Ann Gianfala of Church Point; his sisters, Priscilla Thompson and husband Parker of Douglasville, GA and Germaine Flouke and husband Steve of Lafayette; a Goddaughter, Virginia Thompson of Douglasville; his nieces, Amanda Booty of Zachary, LA and April Stout of Broussard, LA and a nephew, Christopher Dru Hoback of Broussard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Virginia Thibodeaux Faul and his fiancee, Margaret Garrison.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM on Sunday, January 16 and continue from 8:00 AM Monday until the time of services. A rosary will be recited in the funeral home at 7:00 PM Sunday by Deacon Byrne Winn. A U.S. Army veteran of the Viet Nam War, member of the American Legion and member of both the State and the National 4-H Hall of Fame; Mr. Faul served the LSU AG Center as LA 4-H Youth Development Head for a number of years. He will be honored with a Flag Presentation Ceremony at the time of services. Guidry Funeral Home, 219 N. Broadway St., Church Point, LA is in charge of final arrangements.
