Church Point, LA:       A Prayer Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA for Tammy Renee Janise, 61. Ms. Janise, a native of Church Point and resident of Denham Springs, LA, died July 29 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center; Baton Rouge, LA. Deacon Byrne Winn will conduct the service with interment following in the First Baptist Cemetery on Hwy 35 north of Church Point.

Survivors include her life partner, Larry Deloach of Denham Springs; her "chosen daughter", Cassie Gunther of Denham Springs; a son, Jonathan Janise of Denham Springs; her grandchildren, Jonathan Dominic Janise and Damian Cassius Janise; a nephew, Joshua Janise of Denham Springs and her extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Janell Boudreaux Janise and a brother, Darren Hollis Janise.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 10:00 AM Saturday until the time of services. Ms. Janise, a long-time retail merchandise sales person, was truly loved and will be missed by those who knew her. Arrangements are being handled by Guidry Funeral Home, Inc.; 219 N.
