Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 7, 2012 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point for Suza Mae Guidry, 75, the former Suza Mae Ramoin. Mrs. Guidry, a native of Church Point and long-time resident of League City, Texas, died at her residence at 6:00 A.M. Monday, December 3. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with interment following in the Monsignor C.A. Bienvenu Cemetery on Highway 35 north of Church Point.

Survivors include her husband, Tony Guidry of League City, Texas; one son, Jeff Guidry of Houma, La.; two daughters, Dawn Schultz and husband Marion of Batesville, South Dakota and Antoinette Sweetin of League City; a brother, Wilson Ramoin of Westwego, La. and a sister, Myrtle Gros and husband Donald of Houma, La. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Heather Authement and Zane and Samantha Sweetin and four great-grandchildren: Hayze Talbot, Turner Guidry and Carson and Cassidy Sweetin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Elodie (LeJeune) Ramoin; three brothers: Tony, Roland and Leonce Ramoin and a sister, Rena Janis.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 11:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 6 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Friday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday by Monsignor DeBlanc.
