Church Point, La.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church; Church Point, La. for Susan G. Barousse, the former Susan Corrine Guidry, who died at 10:00 A.M. Sunday, May 11, 2008 at Acadia- St. Landry Guest Home; Church Point. She was a native and a long-time resident of Church Point. Father Mitchell Guidry will conduct the services with entombment following in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Mausoleum, Church Point.
Survivors include her husband, Russell "Rusty" Barousse and three daughters, Hollie, Emily and Annie Clae Barousse- all of Lafayette, La.; her parents, Leo and Ada Ruth Faul Guidry of Church Point; four brothers: Randy and Jerry Guidry of Church Point; Robert Guidry of Iota, La. and Everett Guidry of Lacassine, La. and two sisters: Bridgett Gianfala and Melanie Fontenot of church Point.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Anthony "Tony" Guidry.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 on Monday May 12 and continue from 8:00 A.M. until the time of the services on Tuesday.
A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Monday by Father Mitchell Guidry.
