Church Point, LA Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Shirleen Olivier, 70, the former Shirleen Mary Trahan. Mrs. Olivier, a native of Lawtell, LA and long-time resident of Church Point, died Saturday morning, June 18 at her residence. Father Mark Melancon will conduct the services with interment following in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Highway 35 north of Church Point.

Survivors include two sons, Paul Olivier and wife Tammy of Church Point and James Olivier and wife Cara of Lafayette, LA; a sister, Ann Jette and husband Donnie of St. Petersburg, FL and three grandchildren, Brittney and Alexis Olivier and Laney Pickering.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gayle Olivier; her parents, Clarence and Mable Boudreaux Trahan; a son, Joseph Ivan Olivier, a grandson, Michael Andrew "Pickle" Pickering and a great-granddaughter, Olivia Guidry.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Monday, June 20 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Tuesday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held there at 7:00 P.M. Monday.
