Church Point, LA:     Memorial Funeral Services will be held at a later date for Sharon Denise Runnels, 53, who passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026, at her residence in Church Point, LA.

Sharon was the daughter of the late Billy Ray Runnels and the former Deborah Hebert Cormier. She loved gardening, working in her yard and keeping her home.

She is survived by her mother, Deborah Cormier and step-father, Lulu Cormier of Church Point; her three children, Izzy Ensoleille, Zaine Matthew Runnels and wife Destiny of Mamou, LA and Kylan Bishop Richard; one sister, Patricia Runnels and partner Trond of Lafayette, LA; her god-children, Holly Norred and Bailey Runnels and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Ray Runnels; one sister, Amanda Meria Brevelle and her grandparents.
