Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, La. for Scotty Lane Guidry, 28. Mr. Guidry, a native and long-time resident of Mire, La., died at 3:00 A.M. Thursday, July 5 of injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Lafayette Parish. Pastor Randy Willis will conduct the services with interment following in the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery in Mire, La.
Survivors include his parents, Luther and Carole Guidry of Mire; his fiancee, Natalie Dardar of Cutoff, La.; his sisters, Tiffany Guidry Hanks and husband Brian of Scott, La. and Katie Guidry and fiance Michael Delcambre of Duson, La. and his niece and nephews, Addison, his "Godchild" Owen and Ethan Hanks.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Friday, July 6 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Saturday until the time of the services.
Mr. Guidry, an employee of Academy Sports in Lafayette, La., was a graduate of ULL with a degree in General Science. A devoted Christian, he loved family, friends and computer and Internet gaming.
