A Memorial Service will be held at a time and date to be determined by family for Sandra L. Elkins, 56, the former Sandra Lopez. Mrs. Elkins, a native of Port Sulphur, La. and long-time resident of Church Point, died Friday, May 23 at her residence.

Survivors include her husband, Wendell "Glenn" Elkins of Church Point; her father, Jessie Lopez of Picayune, Ms.; a son, Cody James Elkins of Church Point; two sisters, Barbara Buras and Betty Rosser; a brother, Jerry Lopez and a grandson, Payton Joseph Elkins of Houma, La.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth (Judy) Lopez and a son, Nick Joseph Elkins.
