Evangeline, LA      Samuel Dodds Ochu passed away Friday, June 5, 2020 in Madison, MS at the age of 21. Sam was born October 8, 1998 in Elista, Russia. He spent the majority of his life in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and although he lived in Mississippi in recent years, Colorado was always his home. Sam loved music, especially Rock-N-Roll, and was a gifted musician. He taught himself to play the guitar and enjoyed playing for family and friends. Sam was outgoing and funny. He loved hanging out with his friends and he was always the funniest one in the room. Sam was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Sam is proceeded in death by his maternal grandfather, Butch Rasberry, and his paternal grandmother, Marjorie Ochu.

He is survived by his parents, Steve and Melissa Ochu, his brother, Ben Ochu; his sister, Sarah Ochu; his maternal grandmother, Linda Rasberry; his paternal grandfather, Richard Ochu, and numerous family and friends.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Jules Catholic Church in Evangeline, Louisiana on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 10:00 AM.
