Church Point, LA:         A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 12, 2022 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA for Samuel W. Lambert, 72. Mr. Lambert, a native of Orleans Parish, LA and a resident of Church Point, passed away Wednesday morning, August 10 at his residence. Mike Ready will conduct the service and disposition will be determined by the family at a later time.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Matte Lambert of Church Point; his daughters: April Bergeron and husband Brandon of Morganza, LA, Misty Lambert of Lafayette, LA; Kristie Bentley and husband Brian of Cankton, LA, Canaan Lambert of Church Point and Gamiel Daly and husband Chris of Odessa, TX; his sons, Jason Lambert and wife Cathy of Morganza and Caleb Lambert and wife Ashley of Odessa; his grandchildren: Tyler, Macy and Avery Bergeron; Zoe and Jackson Gauthier; Carrie Marin; Caiden, Rylee and Talan Bentley; Ashton, Aubree and Austin Daly; Noah Samuel and Abigail, Josiah, Nate, Nyah, Maddux, Blaire, Taylor, Lauren and Peyton Lambert and his great-grandchildren: Ellie Theriot; Silas, Rowan and Luca Marin and Aurelio Rosas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Grace McFarland Lambert; his sisters, Deborah Lambert, Shirley Dubois and Susan Rentz and a brother, Charles Lambert.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until the time of services. As a loving father, grandfather, spiritual leader and talented musician, he impacted the lives of many. Truly loved, he will be missed by all who knew him. Guidry Funeral Home, 219 N.
