Church Point, La. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Guidry Funeral Home for Rosie Lavergne, 94, who passed away on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 03:54 am at Acadia-St. Landry Guest Home.

Rev. Berl Adams, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Church Point, will conduct the funeral services.

Burial will take place in First Baptist Cemetery on Hwy-35.

Mrs. Lavergne, a resident of Church Point, LA, was the daughter of the late Leo Labbie and the former Caroline Daigle.

She is survived by one daughter, Kathy L. Rabalais and husband Edward of Baton Rouge, LA; two grandsons, Scott Rabalais and wife Michell of Baton Rouge and Jeff Rabalais and wife Tacie of Baton Rouge and five great-grandchildren: Megan, Nicholas, Brady, Katherine and Mallorie Rabalais-all of Baton Rouge.

She was preceded in death by parents; her husband, Emar Lavergne, Jr.; one sister, Ruby Clavier and three brothers, Clarence, Thomas and Curley Labbie.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 from 9:00 am until service time.
