Church Point, LA A Memorial Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA for Ronnie Kay Matte, 73. Mr. Matte, a resident of rural Acadia Parish, died Monday evening, October 1 at Acadia-St. Landry Nursing Home in Church Point. Interment will be at a later date in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery adjacent to the Church in Church Point.

Survivors include a brother, Richard Matte of Lawtell; a sister Sherry Faul of Cankton, LA; a niece, Jamie Grissom and nephews Mitchell and Steven Faul.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Aurora Comeaux Matte.

A farmer who loved his land and cattle, Mr. Matte will be dearly missed by friends and family.
