Church Point, LA:     Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Ronald Bearb, Sr., 76. Mr. Bearb, a long-time resident of Church Point, died Friday morning, October 18 at Acadia-St. Landry Nursing and Rehab Center. Fr. Brian Harrington, Pastor of the Church, will conduct the Services with Interment immediately following in the Bellevue Memorial Park on Hwy 182 south of Opelousas, LA.

Survivors include his sons, Maurice Bearb of Houston, TX, Travis Bearb of Church Point and Christopher Bearb of Lafayette, LA; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a sister, Sue Bearb Cormier and husband Michael Sidney Cormier of Church Point and a brother, Donald Bearb and wife Joyce of Morgan City, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aurelien "Bill" Bearb and Hilda Richard Bearb; his son, Ronald Bearb, Jr.; his wife, Hazel Mae LaBauve Bearb and his brothers, Danny and Pete Bearb.

Visitation will be held at Guidry Funeral Home from 8:00 AM Tuesday until the time of Services. A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 AM by Fr. Harrington.

A Master Tug Boat Captain for a number of years; Mr. Bearb was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Truly loved, he will be missed by all who knew him. Arrangements are being handled by Guidry Funeral Home, Inc.; 219 N. Broadway, Church Point, LA (337) 684-5488.
