A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 P.M. Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Broussard, LA for Ronald Wayne "Poppy" Bourque, 62, who passed away Friday afternoon, October 9 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.

Reverend Bill Ruskoski, Associate Pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, will be the celebrant of the Service with entombment immediately following in the All Saints Mausoleum adjacent to the church.

Ronald, a resident of Lafayette, was the son of the late Clarence Bourque, Sr. and the former Rita Guilbeau.
He is survived by his mother, Rita G. Bourque of Broussard; one daughter, Tammy B. Baudoin and husband Brian of Lafayette; two step-sons, Timmy Holliday of Greenville, MS and Jody Holliday of Natchez, MS; four grandchildren, Emily, Bailey, Chloe and Jillian Baudoin-all of Lafayette, LA; ten step- grandchildren and one sister, Linda B. Garcia and husband Eugene of Broussard.
He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Clarence Bourque and two step-grandchildren, Timmy Holliday II and Erin Holliday.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church from 12:00 Noon Saturday until the time of service with a recitation of the Rosary at 12:30 P.M.

Mr. Bourque was an instructor and commercial locksmith with the Pop-A-Lock Corporation.
