Church Point, LA:     Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Joseph Roland LeJeune, 81. Mr. LeJeune, a native and long-time resident of Acadia Parish near Pitreville, LA, died Sunday morning, May 26 at his residence. Fr. Michael Vidrine, Parochial Vicar of the Church, will conduct the Services with interment immediately following in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Hwy 35.

Survivors include his wife, Patty Carriere LeJeune of Pitreville; his children, Shelia Lavergne and husband Greg of Church Point, Denise Vige of St. Amant, LA and Marty LeJeune and wife Laura of Port Barre, LA; his grandchildren: Jacob and Josh LeJeune, Leigha Rhorer, Ty Lavergne, Ann Alyce Mannina and Kennedie, Parker and McCall Vige; his great-grandchildren: Audrey, Evelyn and Charley LeJeune, Karsyn Stutes, Anna Grace and John Thomas Lavergne, Jimi Rhorer and Dean Mannina; his sisters, Lois LeBlanc of Lafayette, LA, Lou Anna Barry of Rayne, LA and Charlotte Cormier and husband Joe of Church Point and a brother, Randal LeJeune and wife Dianna of Bosco, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Alice Blanchard LeJeune and a great-grandchild, Jax Rhorer.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM Tuesday until time of Services. A Rosary will be recited at 2:00 PM by Lois LeBlanc. Pall Bearers will be Ty and Greg Lavergne, Parker Vige and Jacob, Josh and Randal LeJeune.

A hard-working and devout agricultural worker for a number of years; Mr. LeJeune was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Truly loved, He will be missed by all who knew him.
