Memorial services will be held at a later date for Rogers James Taylor, Sr., 62, who passed away at 4:05 pm on Monday, March 21, 2016 at his residence.

Rogers, a resident of Lewisburg, LA, was the son of the late Leed Joseph Taylor, Sr. and the former Irene Arnaud.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jeanette L. Taylor of Church Point, LA; one daughter, Candida T. Sartelle and husband Shane of Church Point; one son, Rogers James Taylor, Jr. of Church Point; five grandchildren, Courtney Thibodeaux of Church Point, Nycole Lejeune of Church Point, Ian Taylor of Richard, LA, Emily Babineaux of Church Point, and Ayden Sartelle of Church Point; two great-grandchildren, Kayleigh and Kason Lazaro of Church Point; four sisters, Betty Hebert, Delores Guidry, Judy Taylor and Mary Lynn Mathaison and one brother, L.J. Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
