Church Point, La. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, La. for Roberta Guilbeaux, 69, the former Mary Roberta Comeaux. Mrs. Guilbeaux, a native of Church Point and long-time resident of rural St. Landry Parish near Opelousas, La., died Sunday morning, March 13 at her residence. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with interment following in Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery in Carencro, La.

Survivors include her beloved husband of fifty-one years, Ashton Guilbeaux of Opelousas, La.; a son, Troy Guilbeaux and his partner, Aaron Smith of Marksville, La.; two sisters, Jane LeJeune of Church Point and Susie Soileau and husband Pat of Broussard. La.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonce and Leola Thibodeaux Comeaux.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 3:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M on Tuesday, March 15 and continue from 9:00 A.M. Wednesday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held there at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday by Deacon Bryne Winn.

The focus of Mrs. Guilbeaux's life-her greatest joy-was her husband and family.
