Funeral Services will be held at11:00 A.M. Friday, August 8, 2008 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church; Church Point, La. for Robert J. Domingue, Sr. who died at 11:32 P.M. Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center; Lafayette, La. He was a life-long resident of Church Point. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with interment following in the Cedar Hills Cemetery; Washington, La.

Survivors include his wife, Elise Quebedeaux Domingue of Church Point; three sons: Robert Domingue, Jr. and wife Melissa of Aledo, Texas and Patrick Domingue and wife Trudy and Jerome Domingue-all of Church Point; four daughters: Linda Domingue, Germaine Domingue, Peggy Meche and husband Fred "Poochie"and Becky Carriere and husband Keith-all of Church Point. He is also survived by three sisters: Mae Rose Benoit of Eunice, La. and Mary Alice LeBlanc and Clara Belle Martin-both of Port Barre, La.; fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Esta and Wilda Peltier Domingue.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 7 and continue from 8:00 A.M. until the time of the services on Friday.

A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday by Monsignor DeBlanc
