Church Point, LA:     Memorial funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA for Mrs. Rita Mae Hebert Menard, 71, who passed away at 11:35 PM Friday at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA. Deacon Byrne Winn of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church will conduct the memorial services.

Rita was the daughter of Killey Hebert and the former Amy Credeur. She loved listening to classic country music, French music and gospel music. Spending time with her family and cooking for them was very dear to her heart.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ray James Menard of Church Point; two daughters, Stacy M. Renard and husband Jacob of Delcambre, LA and Betsy Menard of Church Point; three sons, Ray James Menard, Jr. of Carencro, LA, David Menard and wife Tessie of Church Point and Killey Menard of Church Point; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and her two sisters, Kathy Johnson and Edith Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Patricia Menard; one grandson, Michael Soileau, Jr. and two brothers, Steve and Melvin Hebert.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 22, from 10:00 AM until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 PM.
