Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Church Point for Rhett Alphonse "Bubby" Thibodeaux, 55. Mr. Thibodeaux, a native of Church Point and a resident of Broussard, La., died at 6:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 24 at his residence there. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with interment following in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Church Point.

Survivors include a son, Seth Thibodeaux of Broussard, La.; a step-daughter, Jennifer Teel and husband Andy of Broussard; a brother, Louis Thibodeaux of Church Point; and three sisters: Celeste Thibodaux and Desiree Higginbotham of Church Point and Elizabeth Savoy of Duson, La..

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carroll and Marie Jones Thibodeaux.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 25 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Thursday until the time of the services.

A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday by Deacon Bryne Winn.
