Church Point, La. "On Sunday, August 29, 2010 ; this family said goodbye to the most loving, kind and compassionate lady we have ever had the honor and privilege to know…my wife, my daughters' mother, my grandchildren's, great-grandchildren's and my great-great-grandchildren's "Mema". To show how much she was adored by all of them, we were so very fortunate to have every one of them surrounding her bed as she took her last breath and went on to heaven to add a brighter star."

Tiny Thibodeaux was born on September 23, 1925 to Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Thibodeaux. On May 21, 1944, she married Reivers Faul and this union would last sixty-six years.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband and greatest friend, Reivers J. Faul; three daughters, Cheryl Richard and husband James, Gwyn Faul and Danita Smith; nine grandchildren: James Richard and wife Tracy of Denham Springs, La., Eric Lavergne and wife Tina of Church Point, Damian Lavergne and fiancee Nicole of Broussard, La., John Richard and wife Donna of Orlando, Fla., Ashley Latiolais and husband Chad of Church Point, Jeffery Richard and fiancee Lori of North Carolina, Kyle Smith, Brent Lavergne and wife Angel and Katherine Latiolais all of Church Point; fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Mary Venable of Church Point and Mattie Prejean of Rayne, La.; two brothers, Ebenezer Thibodeaux of Breaux Bridge, La. and Edmond Thibodeaux, Jr. of Opelousas, La. and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a sister, a son, one grandchild, and a great-grandchild.

She was a member of the American Legion and VFW Ladies Auxiliary of Church Point, La.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and a great-grandson, Lane. Gift bearers will be Jessie Lavergne and Ivy Richard. The readings will be done by Ashley Latiolais and the eulogy will be done on behalf of the family by her eldest grandson, James.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 31 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited at 6:30 P.M. There will be visitation again from 8:00 A.M. Wednesday until the time of Services. The funeral will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with entombment in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Mausoleum on Highway 35 north of Church Point.
