Church Point, LA A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Church Point Pentecostal Church in Church Point, LA for Quinton Titus Orsborn, 88, who passed away at 4:20 AM Monday, November 9 at his residence. Rev. Rick Pavlu, Pastor of Church Point Pentecostal Church, will conduct the funeral services with burial following at 3:00 pm in Autumn Oaks Memorial Park in Orange, TX.

Mr. Quinton, a native of Eunice, LA and currently a resident of Church Point, was the son of the late John Morgan Orsborn and the former Lucy Davis. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Ruby B. Orsborn of Church Point; five daughters: Quinetta Smith, Brenda Hammond and Dovie Tomplait and husband Dale-all of Orange, TX- Veda Serrin of Church Point and Lucy Holston and husband Travis of Covington, LA; one step son, Randel Serrin of Church Point; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife of 45 years, Darlean T. Orsborn; one infant daughter, Janet Orsborn and one grandson, Ryan Serrin.
A United States Army Veteran of WWII; Mr. Quinton was a high school math teacher for several years, an "A" Operator for Cities Service Refinery and retired from the United States Postal Service in 1992. A member of the Church Point Pentecostals, his deep faith in God was evident through the many people he mentored in his life. He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Church Point Pentecostal Church from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Tuesday, November 10 and continue on Wednesday from 8:00 am until the time of service.
