Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, Dec. 3, 2007 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Preston Prejean, 75, a native and life-long resident of Church Point. Mr. Prejean died at Acadia-St. Landry Hospital in Church Point at 3:50 P.M. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007. Father Jefferson Deblanc will conduct the services with interment following in Monsignor C.A. Bienvenu Cemetery on Highway 35 North; Church Point, La.

Survivors include two sons, Barney Prejean & wife Christy of Marksville, La. and Terry Prejean & wife Terry of Church Point, La.; one brother, Willie Prejean of New Iberia, La. and 7 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Thibodeaux Prejean and a daughter, Elma Faye Prejean.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 2 and continue on Monday from 8:00 A.M. until time of services.

A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. Sunday.
