Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Guidry Funeral Home, Church Point for Petra Danielle Briscoe, 24. Ms. Briscoe, a life-long resident of Church Point, died just after 8:00 P.M. Saturday, January 23 in an automobile accident near Church Point. Pastor David DeVillier will conduct the services with interment following in the Body of Christ Cemetery near Branch, La.

Survivors include her father, Mark Briscoe of Church Point; her paternal grandparents, Ralph and Arlene Briscoe and her maternal grandparents, Herbert and Betty Comeaux- all of Church Point; her husband, Gregory McBride of Church Point; two brothers, Thomas and Matthew Briscoe of Church Point and an aunt, Evelyn Comeaux of Church Point.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Annette Briscoe and a sister, Kristie Briscoe.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed beginning at 12:00 Noon on Monday and continuing uninterrupted until the time of the services on Tuesday.
