Funeral Services will be held on June17, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Church Point, La. For Peggy G. Bellard, the former Peggy Ann Gaspard, who died on June 15, 2007 at 10:17 A.M. at Doctor's Hospital; Opelousas,La. The deceased was born on February 13, 1933 in Hessmer, La. Father Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services. Entombment will be in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Mausoleum; Highway 35, Church Point, La.
Survivors include two sons: David K. Michot of Crowley, La. and Christopher Michot of Breaux Bridge La.; two daughters: Pamela Menard of Church Point, La. And Cynthia Vaccaro of Kerrville, Texas; two sisters: Mrs. Noel "Bobbie" Palmer of Baton Rouge, La. and Mrs. Jack "Elaine" Brouillette of Marksville, La.; twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The deceased was preceded in death by a son, Stephen P. Michot; a sister, Nell Martin and her parents, Harvin and Hazel Gaspard .
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Saturday June 16 and continue on June 17 from 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Rosary will be recited on June 16 at 7:00 P.M. by Father DeBlanc.
