Church Point, La.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 16, 2008 at St. John Catholic Church; Lewisburg, La. for Paul W. Thibodeaux,68, who died at 9:00 P.M. Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Eunice Manor Nursing Home; Eunice, La. He was a life-long resident of Church Point. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with interment following in the St. John Cemetery, Lewisburg.
Survivors include his wife, Louise A. Thibodeaux of Church Point, La.; a sister, Linda Hunt and husband Mike of Opelousas, La. and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leopold and Josephine Guidry Thibodeaux; two brothers, Leonce and Ernest Thibodeaux and four sisters: Verna Lavergne, Rita Briscoe, Josie Matte and Georgia Thibodeaux.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 3:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Friday, August 15 and continue from 8:00 A.M. until the time of the services on Saturday.
A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on by Monsignor De Blanc.
