Church Point, LA:     Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Paul L. Landry, 83. Mr. Landry, a native and currently a resident of Church Point, died Friday evening, September 27 at his residence. Pere David Rozas will conduct the services and the interment following in Our Mother of Mercy Church Cemetery #2 on St. Margaret Rd. north of Church Point.

Mr. Landry leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife of 57 years, Gertrude Landry; six children, Lisette (Rickey) Johnson of Opelousas, LA, John Paul (Brenda) Landry, Alegra (Jonathan) August, Monica Landry Wheeler and Jerome (Janet) Landry-all of Church Point, LA and Nicholas (Jameak) of Sunset, LA; twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, three Godchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Joseph Landry and Dora Charlot Landry; one son, Paul "Teese" Landry; one granddaughter, Cierra Landry; four brothers, John Landry, C.J. Comeaux, George Rogers and Kenneth Landry; one sister, Joanne Landry and one Godchild, Brandy Bellard. The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 8:00 A.M. Saturday until the time of the services. A rosary will be recited at 10:00 A.M. by the Legion of Mary of Our Mother of Mercy Church.
