A Memorial Service will be held at a date and time to be determined by family for Paul Brent Bourgeois, 54. Mr. Bourgeois, a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died Thursday Afternoon, July 17 in an accident on property on Ed Thibodeaux Road near Church Point.

Survivors include his parents, Anthony and Connie Bourgeois of Church Point; a son, Paul Clint Bourgeois of Chicago, Ill.; a daughter, Brittni Savoy and husband Jordan of Branch, La.; his brothers: Todd Bourgeois and wife Chris and Keith Bourgeois and wife Katy-all of Lafayette, La.; Jeff Bourgeois and wife Eloise, Scotty Bourgeois and wife Mary Lou and Marty Bourgeois and wife Nancy-all of Church Point; a sister, Amy Katif and husband J.C. of Tylertown, Miss.; his former wife, Dorothy Young of Lafayette; three grandchildren, Abigail, Annabeth and Audra Savoy and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family requested that a Visitation be observed from 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 19. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. by Deacon Bryne Winn.
