Patsy Richard passed away August 12, 2016 in Houston, Texas at the age of 77. She was born on August 13, 1938 in Church Point to Henry Quebodeaux and Nita Venable Quebodeaux. She was a lifelong resident of Houston, Texas.
She is survived by her son, Brian Richard and his wife Beth of Houston, Texas; her granddaughter, Cassondra Richard of Houston, Texas and her brother, John Henry Quebodeaux and his wife Shirley of Rayne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor L. Richard of Church Point and her brother, James Donald Quebodeaux and his wife Dorothy Hardy Quebodeaux of Kaplan.
Patsy was retired from the Houston Police Department. She enjoyed fishing and Cajun cooking after her retirement.
As per her wishes, Patsy chose cremation. A memorial service will be held at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point on October 1 at 11:00 a.m. with interment in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery #2 on Hwy 35 north of Church Point.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
