Church Point, LA:        Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 PM Friday, May 3, 2024 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Church Point, LA for Patsy B. Landry, 82, the former Mary Patsy Briscoe. Mrs. Landry, a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died Wednesday morning, May 1 at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, La. Fr. Michael Vidrine will conduct the Services with Entombment immediately following in the OLSH Columbarium on Hwy 35 north of Church Point.

Survivors include her children: Florence Guidry, Carla Salinas and spouse Tommy, Tammy Guidry and spouse Mike LaGrange, Jill Citizen and Jason Landry and spouse Karie-all of Carencro, LA; Jerome Landry and spouse Wendy, Sandy Brasseaux and spouse Byron, Guy Landry and spouse Hannah and Forest Leger-all of Church Point and Tina Key and spouse Billy of Alabama; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Evangeline Olivier Briscoe; her 1st husband, Floyd F. Carmello; her 2nd husband, Joseph Gerald Landry; a son Floyd A. Carmello; a grandson, Aaron Lucas Guidry; a great-granddaughter, Marcy Joan Brasseaux and a great-grandson, London Carmello.

The family requested that visitation be held at Guidry Funeral Home from 9:00 AM Friday until the time of Services. A Rosary will be recited there at 2:00 PM by Deacon Byrne Winn. Pallbearer will be Jill Citizen. Gift bearers will be Travis and Skyla Doucet; readers will be Jessie Bearb and Paige Lavergne.

Mrs. Landry was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Truly loved, she will be missed by all who knew her. Arrangements are being handled by Guidry Funeral Home, Inc.; 219 N. Broadway, Church Point, LA (337) 684-5488.
