Church Point, LA:   Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 6, 2021 at St. John Berchman Catholic Church in Cankton, LA for Mr. Patrick Gail Savoie, 75, who passed away on Thursday evening, March 4 at Senior Village in Opelousas, LA. Deacon Byrne Winn, Deacon of St. John Berchmans Catholic Church, will conduct the funeral services with burial in St. John Berchmans Catholic Cemetery adjacent to the church.

Pat, a resident of Church Point, was the son of the late Clarence Savoie and the former Beatrice Richard. Mr. Savoie was a long-time business owner in the Church Point area, owning and operating Acadiana Compressor Service and Southern Pro Home Center. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Christine Harmon Savoie of Church Point; three daughters, Jamie Hermann and husband Robert of Jacksonville, FL, Julie S. Ancelet and husband Kevin of Crowley, LA and Jeana S. Simon and husband Jesse of Church Point; one son, John Patrick Savoie and wife Sache of Church Point; ten grandchildren: Patrick Savoie, Nicholas Ancelet, Aline Savoie, Jackson Simon, Berlin Savoie, John Hermann, Megan Ancelet, Oscar Savoie, Jett Simon and Malynn Savoie and one brother, Paul Terry Savoie of Kingwood, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Joseph Savoie and his two brothers, Malcolm James Savoie and Jonathan "Kent" Savoie.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of services.
