Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Church of the Assumption; Mire, La. for Offord "T-Neg" Richard who died at 3:22 P.M. on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at the American Legion Hospital; Crowley, La. Monsignor Russell Harrington will conduct the services with entombment following in the Church of the Assumption Mausoleum.

Survivors include five daughters: Sandra Lejeune and husband Felton and Jackie Fruge and husband Gary, all of Branch, La.; Cheryl Roy and husband Brian of Houston, Texas; Jennifer Schaubert and husband Terry of Church Point, La.; and Tammy Richard and husband Ricky Istre of Mire, La.; two brothers: Clifford Richard, Jr. and Roderick Richard, both of Rayne, La.; 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Thibodeaux Richard; a son, Troy Richard; a daughter, Pamela Richard and his parents, Clifford Richard, Sr. and Edna Benoit Richard.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Friday, December 7 and continue on Saturday from 8:00 A.M. until time of services.

A recitation of the Rosary will be held on Friday at 7:00 P.M. by Deacon Jim Cormier and a Veterans Ceremony will be held at the Funeral Home prior to dismissal on Saturday to honor Mr. Richard's service in both the U.S. Army and Air Force and World War II. He was a member of VFW Post 9903; Church Point, La.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
