Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday May 21, 2008 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church; Church Point, La. for Mrs. Newbon Darbonne, 94,the former Estella Latiolais, who died at 2:50 A.M. Monday, May 19, 2008 at Acadia- St. Landry Hospital, Church Point. She was a life-long resident of Church Point. Father Blair Lope Sabaricos, with Deacon Jim Cormier assisting, will conduct the services with entombment following in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Mausoleum, Church Point.

Survivors include two sons, Raymond Darbonne and wife Rheda and Dillard Darbonne and wife Mary- all of Nederland, Tex.; two daughters, Patricia Labbie and husband Ellender "Dickie" of Lafayette, La. and Elaine Bergeron and husband Kenneth of Church Point; nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Newbon Darbonne; her parents, Ignace and Claudia Bergeron Latiolais; four brothers and three sisters.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 11:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 20 and continue from 8:00 A.M. until the time of the services on Wednesday.

A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday by Deacon Bryne Winn.
