Church Point, LA: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Myron Gerard Leger, 59. Mr. Leger, a resident of Rayne, LA, died Friday evening, January 4, 2019 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, LA. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services. The family will determine disposition of his remains at a later date.

Survivors include his wife, Tina Matte Leger of Rayne, LA; his sons, Wesley Leger and fiancée Tara Freeman of Lewisburg, LA and Chris Leger and wife Amy of Lafayette, LA; his daughters, Amy Lacroix and husband Tyler of Carencro, LA and Angela Gaudin and husband Nick of Rayne; his brothers: Tony Leger and wife Renee, Bryan Leger and wife Liz, Harris Leger and Kevin Leger-all of Church Point-and Michael Leger and wife Angela of Rayne; a sister, Pam Duplechain and husband Butch of Church Point and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Orillion and Delphina Thibodeaux Leger and a sister, Cyndi Charlot. An avid New Orleans Saints fan, Mr. Leger was truly loved and will be dearly missed by his extended family and friends.
